"Driving by Braille" Premier in Pasadena!
"Driving by Braille" had its Southern California premier at the beautiful Arclight Theater in Pasadena, CA, on July 25, 2011. The Screening was preceded by a catered reception at the nearby Yard House restaurant, where Premium Ticket Holders were treated to very good food and got to meet several of the stars of the film, including Steven Bauer, Andrea Marcovicci, Mary Alexandra Stiefvater, and Manu Intiraymi.
Over 250 people attended the screening in the Arclight's 2nd-largest theater, which also saw a screening of the film "Disrupt/Dismantle" as part of the 7th Annual Action On Film International Film Festival, of which "Driving by Braille" was also a exhibition.
MoonHill Productions and AOF jointly sponsored the screenings and reception, along with local business sponsors New Moon Textiles, Barrister Executive Suites, inc, Advanced Laser Anti-Aging Medical Center, and Crew Protection Services. The Reception and Screening also served as a charity fundraiser for MHP's partner in the event, the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, and all together some $4,500 were raised to support their research and outreach programs.
